Steps in the procedure
We at Dr Bansal’s Dental Club takes 10 minutes for you to add sparkle to your smile!!
- You choose the Design and the Colour of the crystal.
- Then choose the tooth where you would like to add the jewellery.
- Then your tooth is etched for 20seconds.
- Then a special adhesive is applied to your tooth and the crystal is put in place.
- The adhesive and the crystal is then light cured for 60 seconds.
- You are now ready to step in with your trendy peers!
If somebody thinks he or she was better off without Dental Jewellery, it can be easily removed without any side effects on the tooth structure as the procedure is non-invasive.
Frequently asked questions about Dental Jewellery
Is it really safe?
Yes. The tried-and -tested Dental Materials and method used for attaching Crystals is the only technique recommended and used by Dental Professionals. Importantly, Crystal will never cause any damage to your teeth as it is very safe.
Does it hurt when Crystal is applied to my tooth?
No, none whatsoever. There is no drilling involved and there is no pain as Crystal is applied directly to your tooth surface using a very thin layer of Light Cured Dental Adhesive. Crystal also does not affect your lip, gum or cheek.
How long will Crystal remain attached on my tooth?
It depends upon your eating habits. Crystal will normally remain in place for 4 weeks to 3 months, or sometimes longer. It can even stay for years in some cases!
Can I go to anyone to have a Crystal applied?
No. Crystal can only be applied by a trained professional. Look for our Authenticity Certificate. This not only confirms that you are having Crystal applied through a qualified and trained professional but also that the product is authentic.
Can Crystal be applied to any tooth?
Yes. Crystal can be applied to any natural tooth but normally looks great on your Lateral teeth. These are your 2 upper teeth on either side of your 2 front middle teeth.
Can I eat immediately after Crystal has been applied?
Yes. There is no problem with eating or drinking as usual immediately after Crystal is applied. However, to retain the Crystal longer, it is recommended that you avoid biting hard food directly on the tooth where Crystal has been applied, especially if placed close to the tooth edge.
Can I brush my teeth as normal?
Yes. Crystal does not affect the way you clean your teeth or what you eat.
Will Crystal become dull or change colour with the colours in food or drink?
No, definitely not. Crystals are created with special compounds that will never lose their brilliance or change colour and are not affected by hot or cold food or drink.
What if I accidentally swallow the Crystal?
When Crystal does detach from your tooth, you will normally notice it in your mouth at which time you should remove it. However, if you do accidentally swallow the Crystal, it’s no problem as it would be like swallowing a very small seed and it will pass safely through your digestive tract and come out ‘The natural way!’
Can I apply the same Crystal when it comes off?
No. The Crystals are treated and can only be applied one time. When the Crystal comes off, you will sometimes feel that the tooth is rough but this will go away with daily brushing or you can go back to where you had Crystal applied to clean this.
Is Crystal easy to remove?
Yes. The Crystal can be removed at any time using a special tool to safely lift the Crystal off your tooth, and you won’t even feel it! To do this just go back to where you had Crystal applied.
How soon can I have another Crystal applied?
You can have another Crystal applied at any time you choose and this means you can have one Crystal removed and another applied immediately!
